Penny Porter is an author and mom whose 35 year career began in the airline industry, where her passion for travel and global connection first took flight. She spent the majority of her professional life in corporate travel and hospitality, building a deep understanding of how to get business-minded people to their destination satisfactorily. Her daughter’s love of baking became her own, which inspired this book.
After being diagnosed with aphasia on her weight-loss journey, Penny turned a personal challenge into a purpose. She now works to support and empower women on their own journeys, offer encouragement, and help others navigate communication challenges with confidence and hope.
An avid romance novel reader herself, Penny wanted to incorporate her love of baking into the perfect travel book to help those traveling for business get in a little recreation.
